Details

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.2.12-20smp i686; en-US; m16) Gecko/20000527 When using a 'Manage Bookmarks' window, the bookmarks list will not scroll when dragging a folder or bookmark beyond the top or bottom of the list. Since a new bookmark is always put at the bottom of the list (actually, you should have the option of a new bookmark being inserted anywhere in the list, ala "New Folder'), you need the list to scroll when dragging the new bookmark to the appropriate folder beyond the top of the list. I have so many *folders*, that I have to drag the bookmark to the top of the list, drop it being careful not to drop it in a folder, scroll the list puting the new bookmark at the bottom, and grab the bookmark and drag it again, frequently I have to repeat the process 3 or more times. A real drag, excuse the pun.

Veryfied not a dupe
looks like this bug was accidentally duped, REOPENING. of course, I'm pretty sure this is a dupe of another bug that already out there. I believe this bug basically comes down to selection and dragging needs to scroll the (tree) view. Anyone seen that bug?

Well, I can't find the exact bug that takes credit for implementing this, but this works in 20000626 am builds mac/linux/win32. There may be so fine-tuning issues and bugs/crashes, but you can drag a folder or bookmark up and down through the bookmarks tree in the bookmarks manager and the tree will autoscroll with the drag.
