Load test2.html. Scroll down to the animated gears. Select multiple lines of the text, and it seg faults immediately every time. Works in both apprunner and viewer. (mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-SeaMonkey_M3_BRANCH.tar.gz) Only tested on linux (debian 2.0, kernel 2.2.2)

mike, so there are a bunch of bugs floating around that say 'selecting this or that text is bad'. Different things happen depending on what OS and depending on the type of text maybe. Some have been marked dupes and some maybe should be. I can't always tell because I don't have stack traces to compare. So: can we dupe out the dupes and just track the real ones? VERIFIED fixed for Linux and WinNT with 1999040718 builds. Does this fix apply to any of the other related bugs(listed above and hyperlinked!) or do those have to wait on M5?

Per a request from Selection and Search component eng (mjudge) and qa (elig), moving all "Selection and Search" bugs to new "Selection" component. Original "Selection and Search" component will be retired.
