Trailing NUL at the end of attributes

Details
Attributes returned seem to have an extra \0 at the end of the string.
Using the qsearch eaxample to MS LDAP server on NT returns the following
dn: cn=_GCD_roger,ou=Members,o=Elsevier
givenname: Roger^@
l: The Boulevard^@
st: Kidlington^@
mail: r.mccalman@elsevier.co.uk^@
The ^@ represents a \0 (as dispalyed by less). If I use ldapsearch from openldap
1.1 I don't get the tariling \0.
I am using perldap-1.2.1 and nsldapsdk-30 on Solaris 2.6 with perl 5.004_04

Is this using Active Directory in NT-2000? I don't have that installed yet, but
I'll see if I can find a machine to try to reproduce this.

Closing this bug, I've tried it against an Exchange server and could not
reproduce. Please reopen if this is still an issue.
