Details

Sometimes the mouse symbol isn't updated to reflect what is under the mouse when going from one page to the next. It seems to happen only if the new page had not been visited before. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. goto the URL 2. position mouse over the "next page" link at the top of the page. 3. left-click without moving the mouse a single pixel ACTUAL RESULTS: When the page starts to load the mouse symbol is changed from "hand" to "arrow" but is not changed back to "hand", not even after the new page is fully loaded. (You have to move the mouse slightly for it to be updated.) EXPECTED RESULTS: Mouse symbol should be updated ASAP, to indicate the link on the new page. DOES NOT WORK CORRECTLY ON: Mozilla nightly build 2000-07-24-08 on Windows 98 SE. WORKS CORRECTLY ON: IE 5.00 on Windows 98 SE.

This bug has been around for more than 2 years now. It would be nice if someone could either do something about it or decide that it isn't a bug but a feature and close it.
