+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #467021 +++ Thunderbird Bug 467021 says "about / chrome start pages should be allowed to load in offline mode" SeaMonkey unconditionally loads the start page since our default is a chrome:// url, but users (or extensions) can point the start page to a http[s] url. We should make a similar check.
No we shouldn't, we have a disk cache for this sort of thing.
OK. I guess when we get off-line browsing this is even more moot.
