We need to develop an "adapter" layer between the native Macintosh event system and the XP-Event system used in Seamonkey. We need an adapter which will map the MacOSevents from Get/WaitNextEvent (which are in the system encoding) into unicode, so that the entire keyboard input path can be Unicode internally. See also bug #4816 (Same problem on the PC)
