Ninoschka, do you see this? You had entered some sort bugs.

This bug I referred to was a very long list of mail message. However, in extreme simple case (eg: about 5 messages), sort works fine.

Turns out he's putterman in bugzilla...

I was able to sort on Subject, Sender and Date and Status if there were a small number of messages in the Inbox. With many messages then sorting is strange as logged in Bug# 4731.

So is this a new bug or a duplicate of 4371?

Now that I've marked this as a duplicate, how big was the list of messages and how much time did you give it to sort? It's definitely not instantaneous and could probably take a while if it's a large list.

RE: Win32 build on Apr 16(1999-04-16-08) Sort on column subject, sender, date and status works fine. Using View|sort by subject, by date, by sender and by status works fine too. There are a total of 101 messages.

RE: Linux build (1999-042108) Sort still does not sort properly on linux. Since this is a dup, I'll mark it verified.
