When doing an identifier search for 'ToNewCString', nothing shows up, while a
lot of uses show up in the text search. This happens on some other methods as
well, but I don't know them offhand.

this looks like a c++ parsing issue with lxr. Upgrading to the
new version should fix. The present engine was meant to parse
C and c++ support is a big hack. The new engine isn't done yet
but should be more extensible and allow for proper c++ parsing.

ToNewCString is a relatively normal function (C style). This worksforme.
