Details
I downloaded the new gecko release for Linux (rpm) today and can't get
it to run properly.
The viewer starts up fine, but crashes as soon as I try to open a HTML
file (online and offline) and reports a "segmentation fault".
apprunner just opens a blank window with the title "unknown".
This is apprunner's output in the terminal window:
nsComponentManager: Using components dir /usr/lib/mozilla/bin/components/
Argument: -progname, ****** Value: ./apprunner
iconic state not set
width was not set
height was not set
OnConnectionsComplete
Got thew event queue from the service
calling gdk_input with event queue
I'm running RedHat 5.2 (Kernel 2.2.5), XFree86 3.3.1, Gnome 1.0.4-11rh
with Enlightenment 0.15.4, glib 1.2.1-1 on a PentiumII/400 w/128MB RAM
and a Matrox G200.
I've tried starting Mozilla both as root and as a normal user, the problem stays
the same.
with kind regards,
David Mayr

Resolved as WORKSFORME.
I'm sorry, but I just can't reporduce this behavior. Is this still happening
for you?
Yes, it still happens.
I figures it might be Gnome and tried it with fvwm, but the problem didn't go
away. Never mind, though, I'll just wait for the next release...
Moving from Apprunner to Other component temporarily whilst don and I set proper
component. Apprunner component will be retired/deleted shortly.
