What I got: A crash occurs as the page begins to display. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Launch Apprunner. 2) From Bookmarks menu, select Smartupdate from the Computer and Internet submenu. 3) The url path appears in the Location field but application crashes.

Can't reproduce this with 4/25/99 build. Doesn't crash.

Cleared resolution of WORKSFORME and re-assigned to gagan. Gagan, this looks like the ol' netlib re-direct bug again ...

Deferring till Necko lands...

Per DP's suggestion marking these till M8. Though Necko lands with M7, we will be able to verify it for M8.

Moving all Apprunner bugs past and present to Other component temporarily whilst don and I set correct component. Apprunner component will be deleted/retired shortly.

I'm moving this to target M9, Necko will be enabled somewhere during late M8 or early M9. We will need to get on this and it cannot be postponed past the M9 milestone.

Should work ok now. Pl. verify with Necko.

think this is fixed with necko. try and reopen of not.

I would like to check this but smartupdate has been removed from the Bookmarks menu.

If I click on the smart update link on netcenter page, the link will load and not crash. Since this is the case, I will verify this as fixed.
