I'm filing this bug in the course of looking into bug #4372 which has some other table-related bugs that need to be looked at over there. I note though that this bug is pretty much already a duplicate of bug #4956, but may be useful as an additional check of the fix. (At least, it seems to have the same general characteristics of bug #4956; I could well be wrong, but kipp/troy can decide).

     Download tax software ...
if you remove these
paragraphs then Elmo will
be placed on top of Kiplinger
  Free Fun with Elmo -- Bring lovable Elmo to your children's creations with Sesame Street Elmo's Art Workshop. I just tried the attached test case with the M4 build win95: the text no longer overlays the IMG, but the IMG is still not fully aligned to the right hand side.

3jrgm - how far off is the image from the right hand side? Is it in the order of a few pixels (3, in fact) or is it a lot?

No, this is not a duplicate of bug #4468 (the 3px thang). (When I said 'not fully aligned', it was ~30% of canvas width). However, looking at the testcase with May20 viewer on win95, all aspects of the testcase look fine to me (modulo a minor example of 'residual style' "
, etc." e.g. bug #991). Marking this bug WORKSFORME. There was another bug filed by me for a similar (but not identical) problem. That one (bug #4956) also no longer demonstrates the reported problems but has some bug #991 problems -- I leave it to you as to whether you want to mark 4956 as a DUPLICATE. (Side note: I assume kipp has some regression tests; the testcase in #4956 went wrong in a lot of ways, and may be useful in this respect). Cheers, John
Summary: text overlaps image (two 'IMG ALIGN=RIGHT' inside ) → Image alignment not correct {floater}

Almost a mid-air collision (py8ieh & 3jrgm update same bug concurrently) Re-clearing status whiteboard -- this bug is WORKSFORME
