launched apprunner, then went to http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/ continue to http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/current/sec52.htm and from there go to http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/current/sec527.htm on every attempt at viewing that page, using either the specified way of getting there, or using the [Next] link on http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/current/sec526.htm the browser hangs and has to be killed using the task manager. Build ID says 1999041412 Version fetched using FTP was the w32-version without Fullcircle

I've attempted to reproduce this on today's builds on Win NT 4, NT, Linux, and yesterday's Mac OS build, and am not encountering any problems. Thus, Verified/WorksForMe.
