Reporter here. I've tried to reproduce several times without success.
But maybe the talkback data can help you? I did crash - I'm not delirious...
Couldn't reproduce the crash either but there is something funny going on.
During page load in composer this appears in console:
WEBSHELL+ = 7
WEBSHELL+ = 8
Setting content window
*** Pulling out the charset
*** SetDocumentCharset(ISO-8859-1)
Loading page specified via openDialog
in SetSecurityButton
Document http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52137 loaded successfully
WEBSHELL+ = 9
WEBSHELL+ = 10
failed to get command manager number 3
failed to get command manager number 2
Registering commands
Have Find = true
Have SpellChecker = false
WEBSHELL+ = 11
JavaScript error:
line 0: selectProduct is not defined
----------
Closing with the X button worked OK.
BUT: Closing with Ctrl+W did NOT work. After having clicked Ctrl+W several
times, this appeared in console:
JavaScript error:
line 0: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code:
0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIController.doCommand]" nsresult: "0x80004005
(NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: <unknown filename> :: onkeypress ::
line 0" data: no]
This reminds me of bug 45957 which noone seemed to be able to repro, but is an
error i still see with kernel 2.2.16-3 and glibc 2.1.3-21.
I'll change the summary of this bug from "Crash when composer window kille"
to "Problems closing composer window"
Reporter: Will you please try to repeat this, but now closing with Ctrl+w
instead of the X, and tell if you see the same error i did.
Summary: Crash when composer window killed → Problems closing composer window

Reporter here. ctrl+w once causes:
An error occurred executing the cmd_close command
JavaScript error:
line 0: selectProduct is not defined
The page renders once again in composer window.
File => Close closes the window.
Well there's a bug here somewhere. Status: NEW.
