to reproduce this, visit a site such as yahoo! click in the body of the
document, but NOT on a link. result: text in the body is selected, and the app
crashes. expected result: nothing is selected and the app does not crash.
this behavior happens on mac os and windows nt.
linux: no text is selected (I'm using enlightenment on an 8-bit display), but
the app crashes.

changing platform to ALL to reflect correct status. clicking around the header on yahoo.com is the best way to repro, I couldn't get
it
to occur on the browserinit page or test2 but yahoo repro'd nicely on all platforms.

looking good on windows nt, 1999042808 build. whew! also fine under linux.
Per a request from Selection and Search component eng (mjudge) and qa (elig),
moving all "Selection and Search" bugs to new "Selection" component. Original
"Selection and Search" component will be retired.
