This has happened consistently from PR1 through now (100608, Win98 original). Sometimes when I download my e-mails and read them, the inbox will refuse to recognize that I've read them even though the messages are all marked as read, leaving a number in the inbox that shows new messages that aren't there. Attaching a pic that shows two inboxes afflicted with this, one of which is open. You can see from the open messages on the right that every message within the folder is visible and that not a one of them are new, which is inaccurately reflected by the inbox on the left. If you need any attachments from me to narrow down the problem, let me know. This drives me crazy and would not be good for consumers using RTM to have to deal with, IMHO.

seems to me the inbox count is really a crash counter. The erronous inbox count increments by each crash IF new mail has arrived in the meanwhile. Just test it: Mark all -> read. Then get a new mail, crash, voila: counter is set to 1 again even if all mails were previously read and also marked read in the inbox count. Dup anyways - of bug 32369 "emails: Unread 1 Total 0" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 32369 ***
