using 4/28 build of apprunner on Windows: 1) launch apprunner 2) launch editor from Task menu 3) try inserting the cursor between "Ender Editor Test Page" and the next line: "This is a good place..." 4) you can't do it.... 5) workaround is to put cursor directly after the text and hit return. happens on all platforms.

hmm we kicked around some ideas on this one. This realld ISNT a bug exactly its more like a feature if we let people type there. it will require some trickiness(sp). I am moving it to m9 since i have enough for m8 and this really isnt a bug, more like a feature

Sending this to Joe: lucky dog. Its really a rules issue. If he wants to resolve it as "we are not doing that" then thats cool.

uhhh, say what? AFAIK, the only thing we could do here is snap the selection to somewhere that makes sense. That's a selection issue, not a rules issue. We don't change the content just because selection moved. Am I missing something?

nobody wants this poor little bug. reassigning to buster for future considerations. it looks like a selection issue to me, perhaps with some caret ramifications as well.
