I thought having Mac on Messenger is part of the M5 "feature set"? Perhaps too late now?

We should have verification builds including MailNews tomorrow. I will work exclusively on having this added to the daily build process, starting immeditately after the 'regular' build is delivered (around 9:30). We've been fighting like hell with configuration problems for the past few days, but we're almost there. The tinderbox "test" page (http://cvs-mirror.mozilla.org/ webtools/tinderbox/showbuilds.cgi?tree=MozillaTest) shows for the first time a successful cycle as we speak! If this remains stable overnight, I will move it to the regular tinderbox page. Let's hope I can mark this one fixed by the end of tomorrow.

fixed. Todays release build include Mail and News component. Build automation will be updated later today to reflect this addition.

Todays special Mac build 199904910 has mail as part of the build. I download build located at: ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/macos/8.x/ppc/current/moz-mailnews-mac. sea.bin which does include mail. Since the fix to automation would be in tomorrow QA build, I will verify in next build.

Verified in the May 30 build (1999043008). Mail is part of the daily build.
