Build: PowerPC April 29 (1999042908) and April 30 (1999043009) Seamonkey build installed on PPC 7500/100 running Mac OS 8.5.1 Problem: After launching Apprunner, an MSF file is created in the folder containing the Apprunner binary. The file created is named after the folder containing the Apprunner binary. In the April 29 build, it was called moz-mailnews.mac.msf and in the April 30 build, it was called mozilla-mac.msf Note: in the April 29 Win32 and Linux Seamonkey build (1999042908) this problem does not occur. This problem is different from a similar bug where a mail.msf file get created outside of the Mail folder containing your mail files. Steps to reproduce problem: 1) Install the April 29 or April 30 PPC build 2) Search your hard drive for any file containing the *.msf extension You should find MSF files in your mail folders. 3) Launch Apprunner 4) Start Messenger 5) Exit Apprunner 6) Search your hard drive for any file containing the *.msf extension You should find a new MSF file created in the folder containing the Apprunner application.

No, it's not a duplicate of 5855. 5855 will be fixed if few minutes but we still have one extra msf file generated. Set TM to M6

JF has a couple of M6 bugs, so Paul, can you look at this?

Verified in the May 17 Mac Seamonkey build (1999051709). In todays build, the misc. msf file is not being created. I checked with JF and he is not seeing this problem either.
