The Linux version currently only supports Latin-1 and Japanese. I don't think this is an M5 stopper...
Do you have a font with a Euro glyph on your Linux system?
Yes, there are 2 fonts with the euro. Both 13 pixels in height, one medium, one bold. Encoding iso8859-15.
Summary: Linux - Euro symbol is not displayed → [PP]Linux - Euro symbol is not displayed
Putting on [PP] radar.

not sure this is a pp bug.. shows the same for me on seamonkey windows and linux builds of early june... and 4.5 too... I see a bullet list with the following values &euro: € &#8364: € &#x20ac: ?x20AC; &#x20AC: ?x20AC; &#X20aC: ?X20AC; &#X20AC: ?X20AC; is this a test page problem? unsetting the target milestone until teruko or someone figures this out....
Chofmann, Win95 still works for me. This is a known problem on Linux only. On your Windows boxes, have you installed the updated fonts from MS or installed the Bitstream Cyberbit font? - http://www.microsoft.com/typography/faq/faq12.htm - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/euro.asp (download links for 95 & NT) - ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/communicator/extras/fonts/windows/Cyberbit.ZIP 4.5 does not have support for hex numbered character references, so we don't expect the last 4 cases to display the Euro glyph.
