Reinstalling a fresh copy of M4 in a new directory (distinct from the old M4 install--I haven't tried overwriting the broken M4) enables you to use both browsers without trouble thereafter. Presumably this is a Neoplanet bug; their install shouldn't break other apps. But conceivably there's a problem on our side (maybe something about our design makes us vulnerable to breaking when other apps are installed?) so I'm filing this for tracking purposes. Contacts at Neoplanet are Jim Friskel (friskel@neoplanet.com, CTO) and Warren Adelman (warren@neoplanet.com, VP Business Development). I've emailed them separately. You can get Neoplanet's Technology Preview at http://www.neoplanet.org/research.htm

do we still have this problem with M5? we would need a stack trace, or talkback report, to investigate further... leger, could someone in qa try playing with this to see if we can get a crash. does anyone have urls to the downloads and steps to set this up?
Sorry, here's the URL for the NeoPlanet download: http://www.neoplanet.org/research.htm
