We want to be able to customize the browser window's title bar text by appending the "Company Name" value that the CCK user enters in the CCK Wizard (Customizing the Browser Part One screen) to the browser's title bar text. (Example: Netscape by Maxwell Communications). Not sure what Component category this bug belongs to, so I just took a guess.

It's generally OK with from a UE perspective , as long as we keep the order of the prefix intact 'document name - Netscape' you can append other stuff to the right of it. I thought John may have wanted to look at it from a policy/branding perspective and from a perspective of dilluting the Netscape brand name? John if you're Ok just re-assign to Don. German is correct. The policy should be to concatenate the customized title bar text to the "- Netscape" branding text.

There is already a DTD that allows you to control whatever text you want after the title. You can change it to whatever you want.
