This is working for me, Linux 2.2.0, rh5.2, mwm. Marking M6.

I did something similar today on Bugzilla- I pressed Save as Bookmarkable Template, and Mozilla M5 froze, the last message on the console being something like "Connect: Contacting host people.netscape.com"

I'm using the 5/11 build and I openened up the bugzilla page and punched in this bug report to add this comment. I'm gonna hit Commit now and see if it worked...

I can no longer do bugzilla queries, the browser hangs. I can not read yahoo mail, I can't get past the login screen. http://mail.yahoo.com

Well, I can't seem to submit any forms anywhere with today's builds. An example is bug lookup at http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ This is linux/mac/win32

Form submission test resource:/res/samples/test8.html looks Ok. Bugzilla is using cookies, so does http://mail.yahoo.com. I can't seem to get past the cookies part, is this a cookies bug?

adding dp and morse to cc list. if all platforms are not working now then its a regression. I've filed many bugs using the win32 5/11 build. have we regressed and need another bug to allow progress at getting to the linux specific problem assoicated with this bug?

With the 5/13 builds QA received, the problem is not cookie-specific. In fact, test8 fails on all platforms. Yes, Chris, it looks like we have regressed.

I doubt that it's a cookie bug. Sounds like a duplicate of two bug reports that I just filed on form submission -- namely 6215 and 6346, which are now fixed. Copying karnaze.

This bug might be the actual culprit: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6399 If you see this problem, check your cookies file (~/.mozilla/cookies) If its huge, then thats it.

ramiro, I think you meant bug 6401 rather than 6399.

Ramiro thinks that widget coordinates are being incorrectly set.

I thought it crashed too, but while I was reading everyone's comment's it finished loading...it is extremely slow and it does hang the browser while loading, but after loading everything works fine. I'm using nightly build 19990519 and RedHat-6.0.

Yeah i still see the 2595 behavior, I'll add my comments there. The hang described here looks fixed.

Sorry, 6159 and 2595 look like different bugs to me. Reopening. A simple bugzilla query fails, the widgets move around. Click on the image submission button in test #8 also fails.
