Details |
Using npmozctl.dll build from 4/29/99 will not allow a VB 6.0 compile or allow
the program to be ran in development mode within VB 6.0. This was all possible
with npmozctl.dll dated 4/26/99. I will attach a notepad file with the exact
errors that were displayed.

There is a problem using the control from any directory except the mozilla bin
one. In development mode, assertions and crashes happen when components
cannot be correctly located. This is likely a problem with the component
registry architecture.
Perhaps Suresh Duddi would like to comment on this?

Resolution: --- → FIXED
The control now works correctly from any folder assuming the PATH variable is
correct and the HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\Software\Mozilla\ComponentPath and
ComponentFile registry keys have been correctly set.
