It's an American Express banner ad on the abcnews.com site -- but of course I can't reliably cause that GIF to pop up on the referenced page. Was running 5/17 build on Win NT 4. What I saw: the first panel of the GIF displayed, the progress bar was turning constantly, and some later panels of the GIF did come up slowly, but the rest of the page remained completely white. It was as if the loading of the GIF caused the rest of page layout to halt. There was also a note in the status bar about 3.___ seconds for something.

Works for me, please retest. You my have experience an networking bug. If you see it again, I'll instrument the optimized build.

With the June 1 build, I don't see this problem occuring.
