This is the SeaMonkey tree of 05/17/99 11:44:23 PDT, on FreeBSD 3.1-CURRENT, configured as "CC=egcc CXX=eg++ ./configure --enable-mailnews". When scrolling up and down a page, the screen can get garbled when the scroll unit is not a full screen-size -- i.e., if we're less than a screen-size away from the top or bottom of a page. Spurious parts of the page end up in the wrong place. Moving the mouse pointer over any parts of the chrome, forcing an expose event, or resizing the window returns the screen to normal. See the two images I've attached for an illustration of "before and after" of the scrolling.

Chris-- can you please try this on our tier1 platforms? Thanks!

Testing with 5/19 build on Tier 1 platforms (Win 95, Win 98, Win NT4.0 - excluding Win NT5.0 which is not available to me). Opened the URL below in Apprunner: http://cvs-mirror.mozilla.org/webtools/tinderbox/showbuilds.cgi?tree=SeaMonkey&h ours=12 Unable to reproduce bug across Tier 1 platforms. Scrolling works correctly without duplication of page parts. WORKSFORME

Ok -- given that its specific to BSD, I'm marking this as wont fix, since I have neither the platform nor the resources to work on BSD issues.
