Table backgrounds appear to be rendering incorrectly in the current Mozilla snapshot. I'm observing the current Mozilla startup page, http://www.mozilla.org/quality/smoketests/. When scrolling with the horizontal scrollbar, table colors do not appear in the newly-revealed areas; what's more, the background color of the sidebar is wrong, as the white of the content area extends fifteen or twenty pixels into the grey of the sidebar. See the attached image for an illustration of the problem.

I've seen the extra white fill over the left gray table on the Mac as well.

Is this bug related strictly to tables? Lose98 Apprunner (Build ID 1999060808) flarks similarly at http://www.lares.dti.ne.jp/~yomi/m.htm , which encodes no tables.

I don't see all of the problems in the screen shot, and I don't see any problems with http://www.lares.dti.ne.jp/~yomi/m.htm. However, there is still a noticeable problem in the left table (The Mozill Organization, etc.).

Commenting only on the problem in the left table: that is bug #7121 (actually bug #1302). It is an HTMLTables problem (see http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/showattachment.cgi?attach_id=342 ).

This issues is still occuring in the June 30th Build. (1999063009)

Not seeing any of these problems in the 7/21/99 Mac build. Of course, they may still be lurking in FreeBSD/Linux builds.

Fixed in the July 26th Build (1999072608).
