Details

Every time I run apprunner, it creates a file called something like: "215871.hst" in my profile folder. The file seems to contain history entries, e.g. "http://www.mozilla.org/quality/smoketests/ 1 Wed May 19 17:54:20 1999 " Creating lots of small files like this is not acceptable; on some machines, it will eat up disproportionate amounts of disk space (because of minimum allocatable block size issues), and it's messy.

Chris, is this your global history stuff? Assign back to me if not.

Yes. This is mine. Simon: we are going to use the mail-news database for history. The current implementation has several deficiencies.
