Mozilla 0.7 has fine compositor execpt the image map editor. It is useless, because it is impossible to know the outlines of the AREA elements. Could someone add proper outlines. It is a fine editor, but: - XHTML 1.0 support with automatic 'id' to the 'a' element could be fine (HTML-Tidy as a plug-ins application?). - user definable white space handling (now quite much unnecessary white space to the source code) - the possibility to add easily %coreattrs;

Hi Tapio Markula, please file only one bug/feature request per bug, so that it is easier for the developers to track down the bugs that have been fixed. The correct component is the editor, I know the names are confusing :-) Thanks for reporting bugs about Mozilla!

In Figure 2 in http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/network/2000/06/30/magazine/mozilla_editor.html it looks like it's working. However I coludn't find any version of Mozilla that actuallay showed this behavior. Have I just missed it or was the image a fake?

The image map editor was taken out many years ago. See bug 84303 about re-enabling it, but I don't think it is likely.
