Please fix this for M6.
Moving to M7. Why does this need to be fixed for M6? It's not a critical bug.

Was the pref originally misnamed in the security.js file? and that was the bug?
Should this effect the preferences UI?
(The enable java checkbox is unchecked, while java is indeed active and
running.)
Should adding user_pref("security.enable_java", false) to the prefs.js file
cause java to be disabled?

Reopening. Unchecking the Enable Java checkbox creates in the prefs.js file
"user_pref("advanced.java.allow", false); not "securtity.enable_java".

Moving to M15. Does this need to be done by beta 1?
Target Milestone: M7 → M15
Bulk moving all Browser Security bugs to new Security: General component. The
previous Security component for Browser will be deleted.
Component: Security → Security: General
