Nav4.5 and IE5 put a blank line between the 3rd and 4th tables because they are inside paragraphs. Gecko does not. <table border><tr><td>foo</td></tr></table> <table border><tr><td>foo</td></tr></table> <BR> <p> <table border><tr><td>foo</td></tr></table> <p> <table border><tr><td>foo</td></tr></table>

Summary: spacing between paragraphs is missing → {compat} spacing between paragraphs is missing
According to HTML4, tables cannot be inside paragraphs. They are block-level components. Empty paragraphs are ignored. Hence there should be no blank line. Mozilla is correct.
