VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 6892

People

(Reporter: Brade, Assigned: waterson)

Details

from a build this morning (5/25/99) on Macintosh affected: single input lines or textareas while typing in an edit field on a form you can lose focus (and your keystrokes) it happens with the sidebar collapsed or open
Priority: P3 → P1
Target Milestone: M6
setting to P1 / M6 since it's really annoying while entering bugs
this seems to happen when the mozilla tinderbox in the sidebar updates
This one sounds the same as bug #6892 except that one said [PP] and win32 only...
Hmm... I am having a very similar problem here in Penguin Land, too. I don't lose EVERY keystroke, but in particular, I do notice that I cannot get apprunner to acknowledge the Return key in the URI field unless I mouse over it. Is this at all related?? If so, then you've got a definite cross-platform problem on your hands.

we will have a release note item for m6 to tell folks how to turn this off, but we want folks to help test the sidebar and live with this annoying notification behavior. chris h.

Chris, this is NOT MY PROBLEM. This is a bug in the webshell! This and all of these bugs would happen if ANY WINDOW had an expires in it. This, and all of these bugs, are dups of 6892, which is assigned to rickg for now. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 6892 ***
