Details

Open up a bookmark folder in the bookmarks pane in Aurora and the icon for the open folder is an empty box. Probably just a gif not being exported to the correct location. This works fine on linux.

yes and no. there are no longer bookmarks in Aurora. So from tha perspective this bug is INVALID. The only folder is the related links folder. The behavior has changed (for the worse IMHO) and just to be proper I'm going to eol this bug and open another. hold tight
The bookmarks are still in the sidebar. They are down at the bottom, so you probably have to make your window bigger. The behavior I see on windows and unix is that the bookmark folders only show the closed folder. I will file another bug on that style problem.

the new bug is bug 8036. Marking this one VERIFIED as of 1999061108 builds on all platforms.
right you are. I can't make my Mac 17" @ 832x624 any bigger so I'll never see those bookmarks... I think the invalid still applies to this bug though, hopefully you got notice of the new bug before you wrote another.
heh-heh, it's been fun playing bug-tag. I hope this is it now. The NEW bug is actually bug 8037
Claudius, sorry I stomped your bug. I dup'd yours because mine had a few more details.
