When you go to a URL like http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews (no trailing slash) you get a redirect to http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/ (notice the trailing slash) You get the right content but the URL in the location bar is not updated. If there are any relative links, then they are relative to the first URL, so the new URL drops the last word (in this case "mailnews") and appends the relative link. For example, there is a link on that page "purify/" but when you click on it you get http://www.mozilla.org/purify/ instead of http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/purify/ This happens in both viewer and apprunner.

I just gave it a looksee with the 1999061608 Linux build and it behaves correctly. If you watch the debug info and the url at the same time you can see that it pretty much does it(add the slash) last but it does work. I followed your exact steps and subsequent url's resolve properly. I'm marking this VERIFIED WFM. If you object, or have concerns, reopen.
