Netscape 4.6 for Linux identifies itself as:
Netscape
4.6 [en] (X11; I; Linux 2.2.9-19mdk i586)
Mozilla M6 for Linux identifies itself as
Netscape
5.0 [en] (Unix; I)
Shouldn't it identify itself as
5.0 [en] (X11; I; Linux 2.2.9-19mdk i586)
I entered a similar bug for Mozilla mis-identiying itself in Windows NT earlier,
but I entered this as a new bug since it's running on a different OS.

I'll take it, but I'm not going to worry about it until after beta unless
someone can make me believe it's a dogfood issue.

As an additional comment, I've heard from a few people who think that the
current behaviour is better, in that it doesn't provide as much information
about the running system. (They were thinking of automated attack programs
keyed to known bugs in given OS versions.)
That said, I'll still work to fix the bug, eventually.

I think the user-agent fixes from a few months back remedied this.
