The profile manager functionality seems to be working, able to create new, rename and delete, but the entries in list are garbage.

Can you tell me the build version/date and the platform ? Did you anything different from the last time ?

sorry about that...I first saw problems with todays original build-1999060108, but that had many problems so I waited to test on 1999060112-The Create Profile Wizard comes up on first ./apprunner. The apprunner launches successfully. Running again with ./apprunner -ProfileManager shows only one profile in strange characters (unlike the usual two, default plus one created. When I enter 'new' it creates another profile and then there are 3 strange entries in the list. I can rename (and the second rename screen shows the correct profile entered) and delete so functionality seems ok, but the profiles are unreadable. If you cannot reproduce, come by and see my installation.

build 1999060308-these characters are not showing on todays build

I haven't noticed it with today's build. Marking this bug invalid. Please repoen if this behavior again. Rmemeber to wipe out the "registry" that lives under ~/.mozilla.
