Clicking headlines in the left-hand "Today's Headlines" column opens the article only about 10% of the time. If the article does not load, the "FIND A BOOK" scrollbox in the right-hand column flashes. I am using Mozilla M6 on NT4 SP3.

Target Milestone: M8
Target to M8.
I'm moving this to target M9, Necko will be enabled somewhere during late M8 or early M9. We will need to get on this and it cannot be postponed past the M9 milestone.
Changing all Networking Library/Browser bugs to Networking-Core component for Browser. Occasionally, Bugzilla will burp and cause Verified bugs to reopen when I do this in a bulk change. If this happens, I will fix. ;-)
Summary: Mozilla cannot always open Wired.com's "Today's Headlines" links. → NECKO: Mozilla cannot always open Wired.com's "Today's Headlines" links.
Could we get a reproducable case for this internally? Thx. Also pl. verify with Necko.

Gagan, this page doesn't even load for me at all. Does it for you? It craps out very early, before much content is loaded. No time to investigate right now, please bug me if you need help on this in a couple days.

this behavior is seen on both linux and win95
this page will not load for me on 8/13 win95
Rick: The parsing of the end of headers seems flaky here. I am not sure if you are already fixing some of that and so would wait for your checkins tonite. One interesting observation for this particular case is that the server doesn't wait for any headers past the GET request and starts sending data down right after the first request line.

The problem with wired's content was that it was starting with a space and so we used to think its a continuation of the last header. Anyway I have sent a patch to Rick for his M9.rpotts branch. And am marking this as fixed. Pl. verify this with Ricks changes checked in.
