User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0
Build ID: 20121024073032
Steps to reproduce:
Tried to configure Thunderbird to use Gmail (no proxy required to connect to IMAP/SMTP servers) and tormail (proxy required to connect to IMAP/SMTP servers).
Actual results:
In order to connect to the Gmail account I had to set the connectivity options to 'no proxy', then got constant alerts about the tormail server not being reachable.
The opposite when trying to use the tormail account, set the proxy settings (got gmail connection alerts).
Expected results:
Not a should, but it would be nice to be able to configure proxy settings per account, not just globally for Thunderbird. I have done a mock-up of what I would love to see the 'Account Settings' window look like (http://i.imgur.com/f9Ha3.jpg in case the attachment feature didn't work). This would allow Thunderbird to work with webmail providers that require/don't require proxy settings without issues. TIA. NiPP0.
