RE: win32 (1999-06-16-08)
When I run apprunner on win_nt 4.0, I see this message in the Command Prompt
window.
JavaScript error: Components.classes[component://netscape preferences"] has no
properties
Is that the reason why I did not get the profile manager to pop up when I first
run apprunner on today's build?(note: mozregistry has been removed)
Linux: no problem
Fenella - this doesn't belong to MailNews product since you're seeing this with
Apprunner. Suggest you check with Grace Bush or perhaps someone in browser QA
to see if this is already known.

Actually right now I'm not able to see this bug, but I think that this could be
the reason why You did not get the profile manager to pop up when I first
run apprunner. Even I'm not getting profile manager on start up [Even after
deleting mozregistry.dat], but I'm not geeting that error message on command
prompt.
I think they did not impliment preferences yet. Other day I was talking to
vidur, and I think he mentioned that. [I'm not sure].
I already reported one bug for preferences which is bug# 7259.
You can talk to vidur, I think he knows.
