To recreate open http://www.mozilla.org, then open your sidebar. When the available links appear in it click on one of them. It will open in that part of the sidebar, it seems like it should open in the browser. I'm using build 1999061608
Priority: P3 → P1
Target Milestone: M7
Steve, what happened here? Is this a regression or just the usual targeting bug?
Do you mean you click on a link in the sidebar and it loads in the sidebar? Or do you mean you click on a link in the main content area and it loads in the sidebar. We have a bug for the former. I have not seen the latter. If it is the latter, please include the steps to reproduce it. Also, what bits are you using, did you download them from ftp.mozilla.org, or did you roll your own?
Steve, I think can show you the steps. 1. Open Sidebar 2. Goto Mozilla Tinderbox Panel 3. Click on Link "SeaMonkey as of 6/17 ..." 4. The link opens up in the Mozilla Tinderbox Panel Perhaps it is supposed to open up in the main browser window? The what's related panel opens up in the browser window, and bookmarks panel open up a new window, so they seem to be working OK.
This is using the 6/16 bits off sweetlou

Paul, why is this a blocker bug? Is it a regression?
Severity: blocker → normal
I didn't mark it as a blocker - I don't think it's M7 material, personally. Changing to normal.

I checked in a workaround. I have another bug to track the targeting problem, so I am going to mark this one fixed. I changed the tinderbox link so it loads in the main content area.
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
verified fixed on all platforms, 6/18 builds. Clicking on link in Mozilla Panel opens up in main browser window. Thanks for the bug csbooton.
