I have downloaded the binary dist of LDAP-SDK and installed it along with
PerLDAP... everything works exept:
* When I insert a person with swedish characters ÅÄÖ the entry gets
"cut-off" (Håkan Olsson becomes H)
Is there something to change in PerLDAP? I know that the directory can
handle these characters and I can input them from other sources...

This may be related to bug 3342 - adding entries with binary characters. The
Conn::add() did not perform a binary add. Check when 3342 is patched into a
release version.
