Details

Some ISO-8859-1 charcters are not displayed correcly if entered directly into the html file. They are however correctly displayed if replaced with å and friends.

Well, it is already marked as fixed so I guess you mean verified (or ?). It seems to pass my test page OK (In the URL field).
