Composer crashed when I attempted to move some text around, using 1st mouse button only.

Please always include build ID. (Btw.. Reporter of a bug get bugmails by default - no need to CC)
Mozilla build ID 2001080110 I used to "4test4" comment to temporarily disable end of text body. Without the "test" comment starters, I tended to find Composer never finished loading a page. I'd get the hourglass symbol, and Composer would not react to mouse or keyboard (CTRL-W). I don't know if that's the same bug, or not.
My build ID is 2001080110.
Reporter: that build is over a month old. Can you try this on a newer one?
Using Build 2001091403 Uploaded HTML attachment again, because I had trouble downloading what I thought I had uploaded before. The attachment to look at is "Hangs both Navigator..." If you just click on it, abovementioned build hangs, needing CTRL-ALT-DEL and End Task. If this file is on disk: 1. Opening with Navigator flashes a couple of times, then Navigator hangs, requiring Ctrl-Alt-Del. 2. Opening with Composer hangs, needing Ctrl-Alt-Del.
Confirming, attachment 49389 [details] hangs browser, build 2001-09-14-03 on Windows 98 SE.

Changing component from Compositor to Editor-Composer.

I think this is a general Layout bug, not Editor-Composer. Bug still occurs in 2001-10-02-03 (trunk) on Windows 98 SE.

I think I'm seeing the same bug in Moz 0.9.6 on WinME. Since upgrading from 0.9.5 to 0.9.6, I've twice see "Crash in GK*" alerts where I'd never seen this before. (First was in GKCONTENT, second was in GKLAYOUT.) Talkback ID is TB249609Z for the GKLAYOUT crash. Happened while: (1) in one window, I had a mail message open that I was editing, and then (2) I switched to the Moz Navigator window to browse the movie listings at amctheaters.com: a) went to http://www.amctheaters.com/, b) entered date of Sun, Dec. 9, 2001, c) zip code of 95101, d) movie name of Amelie, clicked Go or hit return (can't remember), and got the GKLAYOUT crash alert. ... but I can't reproduce this.
To clarify, I've seen two crashes in GKLAYOUT and one in GKCONTENT since upgrading to Moz 0.9.6. The other GKLAYOUT Talkback ID is TB38669854H.
Can't get a hang or crash anymore, but the testcases are really slow, build 2002-01-23-08 (trunk) on Windows 98 SE.
--> 1.0 since this is not reportedly crashing anymore
Target Milestone: mozilla0.9.9 → mozilla1.0
-->m1.1
Target Milestone: mozilla1.0 → mozilla1.1
Still not seeing crash or hang here. 2002-06-20-09 trunk win98. The testcases are somewhat slow, since they have a large number of <font>s: -> duplicate of bug 97815 "Font statement is causing performance problems" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 97815 ***
